Hauner “Rosso Antonello” Salina IGT
60% Nero d’Avola, 30% Sangiovese, and 10% Corinto Nero. Lovely ruby hues with a garnet rim. The bouquet shows character and breed going from ripe berry fruit, blueberries and blackberries, to subtle vanilla and spice, notably cardamom, mineral notes of graphite and gunpowder. Full, rich and velvety on the palate, with round, elegant tannins, chewy fruit, sunny flavors.
“At Hauner we believe that, given the amazing soils, unique landscapes, and fantastic grapes of the Aeolian Islands, we are honor-bound to create wines worthy of such fruit.”
