Fantini Trebbiano d’Abruzzo DOC
100% Trebbiano. Fantini Trebbiano d’Abruzzo DOC is a lively and intense straw yellow color. The nose is quite intense and persistent, fruity with notes of peach, medlar, as well as floral notes of white flowers, orange and lemon blossoms. Well balanced, with good structure and length.

Grapes: 85% Trebbiano d’Abruzzo and 15% Malvasia
Vineyards: From vineyards located in Ortona and surrounding towns
Altitude: 230-430 meters (750-1,400 feet) above sea level
Soil: Medium-textured, calcareous clay
Vine Training: Tendone “bower” trained
Vine Age: 10-20 years
Time of Harvest: Mid-September
Vine Density: 1,600-1,800 vines per hectare
Vine Yield: 10-12 tons per hectare
Total Production: 480,000 bottles
Vinification Process: After harvest the grapes undergo delicate stalk-stripping and crushing. Pressing, clarification, and fermentation of the clean must last for 20 days a controlled temperature.
Aging Process: The wine ages in stainless steel and in the bottle.
