100% Sauvignon Blanc. The wine is a pale lemon-lime hue. A generous array of aromas and flavors suggest passionfruit, gooseberries and ripe cantaloupe that has been sprinkled with freshly crushed thyme. In the mouth it has a lively energy with a muscular tautness to its medium weight and a refreshing, tangy, dry lime zest finish.

100% Chardonnay. The color is a deep lemon. On the nose, there are aromas of citrus, as well as honeydew melon and hints of peach/nectarine. There are also some underlying savory notes (toast and brioche) as a result of the secondary fermentation and lees contact in the barrel. The palate reveals intense fruit concentration, with a nice spine of acidity to keeping the wine tight and focused, with a lingering finish.
Our main variety of chardonnay, known locally as Mendoza, typically produces light crops of small berries and hence tends to make concentrated wines.
100% Sauvignon. This wine has vibrant fruit aromas of ripe gooseberries, citrus fruits, red capsicums, and passion fruit. The intense flavors of gooseberries and citrus fruits are balanced by the firm finish.

100% Pinot Noir. Bright ruby hue. Its vibrant aromas and flavors suggest black cherries, blackberries, raspberries, mulberries, and purple plums. There are intertwining hints of grilled mushrooms, licorice and black olives.

100% Chardonnay. The color is a deep lemon. On the nose, there are aromas of citrus and stone fruit, together with a hint of flinty minerality. Layered beneath there are also savory notes of almond, toast, and brioche. It has satisfying concentration, yet is balanced with a lively seam of acidity that helps prolong the finish. The wine remains tight and focused, displaying elegance and refinement typical of this vintage.

70% Sauvignon Blanc and 30% Semillon. The color is pale gold with aromas of citrus fruit, greengage, gooseberry, and passionfruit. There is also a hint of struck match and freshly crushed thyme. The Semillon component helps fill out the palate, adding weight, and richness, while also acting to restrain the exuberant herbaceousness of the sauvignon blanc. The lees contact adds further creaminess and body.
An alternative and complex expression of New Zealand Sauvignon blanc with texture and length not often associated kiwi Sauvignon. A versatile food wine that can be aged.
100% Pinot Noir. This wine has medium-density to its color. It shows an intense nose of raspberries, black cherries, black Doris plums with spicy characters and complex earthy notes. The palate is medium-bodied with soft tannins and features sweet red fruits backed up by black pepper, cloves, and spice. The wine shows a great balance between fruit and oak and a well structured seamless palate with length on the finish.

100% Pinot Noir. The 2017 vintage is sappy and structured, with layers that build seamlessly into a velvety richness, captivating and thought-provoking. Lighter and finer to taste, again different but in such a good way.

100% Riesling. The color is straw yellow. On the nose, there is an abundance of citrus, particularly the orange zest that so defines North Canterbury Rieslings. There are also hints of red apple and apricot, layered with honeysuckle and guava. The extended hang time has added a concentration to the palate, together with ripe phenolics that give structure and length. Despite its body, the wine still has a crisp and refreshing acidity that matches its off-dry finish perfectly.

Cooler than average Spring temperatures led to a smaller set, resulting in excellent fruit concentration. A warm Summer and long lingering Autumn then followed, allowing this smaller crop to reach optimum ripeness.

100% Sauvignon Blanc. The wine is deep golden, with aromas of stone fruit (peach/ apricot), lychee, pineapple, and passionfruit. Layered beneath are also hints of brioche, hazelnut, marmalade, and butterscotch. The presence of botrytis adds concentration and leads to a mouthfeel that is rich and unctuous, however, there remains a refreshing spine of acidity that ensures the wine is perfectly balanced while adding satisfying length.
