60% Nero d’Avola and 40% Nerello Mascalese. Ruby with decided violet hues, legs show good depth and viscosity, anticipating the wine’s excellent structure. Ample, intense aromas of blackberry and black cherry, spicy notes of vanilla, licorice and carob with toasted nuances. Firm tannins, good balance, body and flavor intensity, lingering, silky finish.

100% Nero d’Avola. Intense ruby red tending towards garnet, this Nero d’Avola has a vast array of fruity aromas with notes of ripe plum. The flavor is mouth-filling and warm with fragrant grapey notes and good acidity.

100% Dolcetto. Marcarini Dolcetto d'Alba "Fontanazza" DOC is magnificent ruby red with violet reflections; intense, persistent bouquet shows appealing floral and fruity notes. Lively red fruit; full-bodied, with a pleasingly crisp finish.

100% Pinot Noir. The wine has a vibrant ruby appearance. On the nose, there is a selection of red fruit aromas (raspberry, pomegranate, and cherry), as well as pepper and clove. Underpinning this are savory notes. The palate is satisfyingly concentrated with fine-grained tannins, and a refreshing minerality which ensures the wine remains tight and focused, with a lasting finish.
Cooler than average Spring temperatures led to a smaller set, resulting in excellent fruit concentration. A warm Summer and long lingering Autumn then followed, allowing this smaller crop to reach optimum ripeness. Prima Donna is made in only special years

80% Sangiovese Prugnolo Gentile, 12% Merlot and 8% Cabernet Sauvignon. Boscarelli Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva "Sotto Casa" bouquet recalls small red fruit and floral aromas like iris and violet as it evolves. The palate is elegant yet powerful.
