Point of Differentiation
- Wine produced just for the US market.
- Easy pairing red for meat stews, hearty mountain-style rice dishes, slow-cooked recipes with Mediterranean spices.
- Luminous, clean dark ruby red with exquisite fruit notes of wild blackberries and blueberries. Delicate vegetative notes of green coffee. Intense, warm, and velvety on the palate, full of rich flavors and extract.
The Torres family has been making wine for 5 generations, as a tribute to the 5th generation and to the Garnacha variety heritage that carries with the family, we selected 5 special parcels in the Campo de Borja region to create this exquisite blend.
The winemaking heritage of the D.O. Campo de Borja is very rich in Grenache grapes. The oldest vineyards of the D.O. date from 1145 and of the 3,306 hectares of Grenache, more than 2,000 are aged between 30 to 50 years. Their productions are low but immensely appreciated in enological circles thanks to the structural and aromatic complexity they give to the wines.
If any nuance defines the wines of Campo de Borja it is their singular balance, a product of the rich contrast present in the area and the firm determination to combine modernity and tradition in wines that are intense with vivid fruit aromas, energy and personality.
