On May 17th, Empson hosted the first Empson Barolo Webinar featuring three of Italy’s top Barolo producers: Marcarini, Einaudi, and Conterno Fantino, which have more than three centuries of winemaking expertise combined. Ian D’Agata moderated the event and walked viewers through these Barolos, which include both traditional to modern styles. The wineries themselves were on hand and gave their unique take on the 2017 vintage and what consumers can expect from it.
