New South Wales - Western Plains
Canonbah Bridge is located near Warren,
700km North West of Sydney, Australia. The
specific GI is the Western plains, a wider
term that denotes the outlying westerly
regions of New South Wales to the North and
West of the more widely known wine areas of
the Hunter Valley, Mudgee and Orange.
The climate at Warren is arid. The harsh
outback conditions are renowned for producing
award winning Merino sheep, which are highly
desired for their wool. The climate of the
region provides a combination of long, warm
ripening days and conversely cold nights;
producing bold, attractive characteristics in
the fruit.Wineries
